Reading... 'The Poisonwood Bible' by Barbara Kingsolver. I haven't quite been sucked into it yet, but it seems very interesting. It will be a book I either love or hate, and I'll continue reading to find out which.
Excited about... Meeting up with Raine and Liv, the only 2 people I knew from Toronto before arriving here. And I get to see them June 8th! :)
Planning... A morning in a coffee shop with my journal.
Watching... Two squirrels playing hide and seek in the trees outside.
Feeling... Way too hot, but pretty happy :)
Wanting... A big glass of icy coke.
Grateful for... My wonderful host family for the summer. They are just the sweetest people. :)
Collecting... Pretty postcards, photos and pictures to make a collage on my bedroom wall.
I do the same with scary movies! It's never worth it but my best friend loves them xxx
ReplyDeletethat morning in a coffee shop sounds good. got to steal that idea :) and oh, just curious, how were you able to land in Canada? I would love that to happen to me too! :D
ReplyDeleteI just decided I wanted to travel this summer but couldn't afford it. We get 4 months off, so I thought why not work abroad? And being a nanny/ au pair is the perfect work for me. :) So I went on a website http://www.aupair-world.net/ and it all worked out with this family. :) I couldn't have been more lucky!
DeleteThanks Orla! I joined the site too. I hope I can borrow your lucky star! <3
DeleteHaha really funny post :)

ReplyDeleteI am the same way with certain scary movies!
Thanks everyone! Glad to know I'm not the only silly person exposing herself to scary movies haha :)
ReplyDeleteLovely! And I sometimes get odd dreams too from scary movies. Not always a good thing.
